Kaye E. Gohlke
Certified Public Accountant
Kaye E. Gohlke, a Certified Public Accountant, is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Mrs. Gohlke has over thirty years of experience in providing comprehensive and informative services to her clients in tax planning, consulting and compliance. The majority of Mrs. Gohlke’ s practice has been devoted to keeping abreast of the changing tax laws, financial accounting principles, multi-company planning and compliance, business startups, sales and
acquisitions, trusts and family limited partnerships. She consults with her clients’ financial advisors, business and estate attorneys to form a cohesive planning team. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas State Society of CPA’s, and the AICPA Tax Section. Her business mission is to provide cost effective and personalized service to each of Gohlke and Company’s clients.
Sarahann Kempisty
Certified Public Accountant
Sarahann Kempisty, a Certified Public Accountant, is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Sarah specializes in tax return preparation and planning for individuals, closely-held companies, and family businesses. She enjoys helping clients buy and sell a business, set up a new business, QuickBooks consulting, financial statement preparation, and resolving IRS issues. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas State Society of CPAs.
Denise O’Farrell-Mast
Senior Staff Accountant
Denise O’Farrell-Mast, a senior tax manager, has been with our firm for over twenty-five years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting in May of 1995 from University of Houston. Denise specializes in tax planning and strategies for businesses and estates. Her approach is personalized service for each of her clientele by utilizing all resources to minimize taxes and increase wealth. She is highly skilled with compliance at both Federal and State levels, including complicated taxation issues of all entity types.
Jessica P. Campos
Senior Accountant
Jessica P. Campos, a Certified Public Accountant, is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Prior to obtaining her license, Jessica achieved her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. She has over 12 years of experience on detailed accounting functions along with preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, businesses, estates and trusts. In addition, Jessica works on issuing preparation engagement financials and assisting clients on various business and tax consulting matters. Jessica communicates with clients on a daily basis to ensure the completeness and accuracy of each tax return and understanding of each tax matter in order to achieve the lowest possible tax liability based upon the particulars of each unique situation.
Dalilah Darancou
Staff Accountant
Dalilah Darancou, a staff accountant, started her career in banking and finance, where she solidified her knowledge of the personal banking structure and connected industries over several years. She has achieved a dual Bachelor’s degree of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. She is currently working towards becoming a Certified Public Accountant. As part of the Gohlke team, Dalilah prepares tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts. Dalilah is highly motivated when working with clients to ensure they are in a leading strategic position as she deeply cares about Gohlke’s clients and their goals.
Shelly M. Potter
Enrolled Agent
Shelly M. Potter, is a federally licensed tax practitioner, as an Enrolled Agent. She is a member of the Texas Society of Enrolled Agents and National Association of Enrolled Agents. She has been with Gohlke & Company, P.C. since 2010. She currently advises clients on taxation issues with particular attention to individual clients and sole proprietors. She works with clients who might be experiencing issues with the Internal Revenue Service. She brings excitement and dedication to her work that our clients appreciate.
Christi M. Walker
QuickBooks ProAdvisor
Christi Walker is our full-charge bookkeeper and payroll specialist with over fifteen years of experience. She is a member of the National Society of Certified Public Bookkeepers. She continuously stays on top of the current and ever-changing payroll laws, to have the latest information available to our clients. In addition, Christi is skilled in bookkeeping and assists clients with training on QuickBooks, QB Pro, and QB Online. She is devoted to client satisfaction, providing accurate and supported communication, and a desire to provide outstanding services.
Sondra Niland
Office Administrator
Sondra Niland is our office administrator and the glue that holds us all together. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and has had a varied career, from an office manager to the elementary classroom and back to the office. She is our most trusted administrator. Sondra seeks to build solid client relationships by her professionalism and can-do attitude. She always has a smile on her face when supporting our Team.
